Gerard Belfort represents investors in investment disputes against broker-dealers and financial advisors.
Gerard has over 10 years of legal experience. Prior to founding Belfort Law, PLLC, Gerard worked as a law clerk for a federal judge in Chicago and as a securities litigation associate for national law firms in New York.
Gerard’s professional activities include serving as a Member of the Public Investors Advocate Bar Association, a Registered Arbitrator for FINRA and the NFA, and previously serving as an Adjunct Professor of Securities Regulation at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.
Gerard obtained his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and his undergraduate degree in Economics from Stony Brook University.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Gerard worked as a licensed financial professional.
